Peanut Butter Bar Recipe

Mix the honey, margarine, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl. Remember that not all of the honey will come out; that's okay. once all of the liquids are mixed with baking soda and baking powder in the mix add the flour. Chocolate chips are added just before placing in the pan. Grease the pan with spray or vegetable oil.

Mixed Nut Granola Oat Nut Bar

I was looking to expand my snack line. I thought I would add something without Peanut Butter. This is a Banana and honey sweeten snack. No sugars added. If you are a healthy snack person you know what granola tastes like. The nutritional value is that of the granola used. You have to mix the honey, banana, vanilla extract, and 1 egg before adding the granola and oats. Once you have mixed banana's and honey mixture add 3/4 cup of flour mix well then add granola. When granola is well mixed and coated add Oat meal. Almond nuts optional ; chopped whole almonds. Chop to your liking. Bake around 5 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. I ziplock bag them until condensation forms in the bag then I open the bag to finish the cooling process. ziplock right out of the oven. let then cool on the try makes a dryer bar.

Ingredients

3 Banana's

1 egg

2 Tablespoons of Vanilla Extract

8 oz. Clover Honey (any brand)

3/4 Cup Flour

2 Cups Mixed Nut Granola (Any brand)

2 Cup Oat Meal

2.5 oz. Chopped whole Almonds (optional)

Scoop out a cluster of mixture place not in a blob make bars. Bake at least 5 minutes at 350 degrees. I simply look for the edges to start browning. Peaks of oats will brown lightly. longer cook time will make harder bars.

Peanut Butter Cake

I was looking for a different taste and a little less sugar when I tried a new flavor and texture. I wanted to keep the same protein level but I wanted another choice to add.

The ingredients do not have to be the same; local brands may not be available.

1/2 jar 9oz of Food Club (Brand)Apple Jelly (Gluten Free)

2 Table spoons of Chestnut Hill(Brand) Vanilla Extract

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon Clabber Girl (Brand) Baking Powder(double acting)

1/2 teaspoon Chestnut Hill(Brand) Baking soda

1 1/2 cups flour

I usually start by cutting the 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract, 2 eggs, 9 oz of apple jelly, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into a froth the mixture has a chemical reacting the fizzes and bubbles. At this point I stir in the the jar of peanut butter until smooth. Remember it's crunchy peanut butter. slowly add the flour a 1/2 cup at a time mix a little before adding the next 1/2 a cup. when all of the flour is mixed in and moist transfer to baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Note I fell a slept and baked it 45 minutes once. I zip locked it while still hot and the steam moistened the cake. saved me from making a new cake. Pyrex 8 x 11 1/2 baking dish.  I used some of the ingredients are from dollar stores to help people afford the recipe; cheaper protein supplement.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bar

My mission when first trying a recipe was to make something similar to a Clif Bar. I wanted the protein with a moist bar consistency. This is a new flavor in the line of bars. A new trick is to only cook this bar for about ten minutes. I turn the oven on when I have made the batter place the on the parchment paper set oven to 350 degrees. five minutes of heat up time and the bottoms are are almost brown. If the top get gets browned peaks and brown bottom let them cool is a seal fresh container is best.
